Executive and Finance Committee

The Executive and Finance Committee consists of the Board’s chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, and treasurer. It is appointed to act on behalf of, and within the powers granted to them by, the board of directors. The committee prioritizes issues for the full board to address.

The committee provides financial oversight for the organization. Task areas include budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting, and the creation and monitoring of internal controls and accountability policies. In addition to developing and recommending an annual budget to the Board, the committee also sets long-term financial goals. These goals include reviewing the cash reserve fund budget for maintaining and replacing equipment.
